The Story of
Brasserie Ecosse

Brasserie Ecosse has become the social hub of the neighborhood, offering a creative menu and affordable wines in a warm, comfortable, relaxed setting. It’s become The place to see and be seen. Brasserie Ecosse is unique, bringing an authentic Brasserie menu and a bustling ambiance, which echo the glamour of the Old World Brasserie combined with an accentuation of the New World.

Chef Steve Leitch
, the owner of Brasserie Ecosse, brings dedication, passion, and years of experience to the culinary team.  Every day the culinary team is on stage in the open kitchen providing entertainment to the guests of Brasserie Ecosse. The teams’ creative talents compliment one another which is distinctive in the flavorful European inspired cuisine. Michaela Leitch is Steve's wife and is a seasoned veteran of high-end event creations, implementation, and catering.

Brasserie Ecosse finished out the Hub-Bub Building when it moved into the bottom floor of the building (www.hub-bub.com).  The Hub-Bub building,  remembered by nostalgists as Gilbert  Shoe Company, opened in 1928 as a Nash Rambler car dealership. The floor which now houses Brasserie Ecosse was actually the showroom.  Throughout the early 50’s it was R.E. Foil Motor Car Company and then became the first home of the Vic Bailey car dealership.  Through the 60’s and 70’s it was a furniture store then Gilbert Shoe Company until the mid 90’s. Currently it houses four Hub-Bub Artists-in-Residence, “The Showroom”, and Brasserie Ecosse.
